Crazy Little Thing Called Lovdev
Crazy Little Thing Called Lovdev is a comedy podcast hosted by Birmingham stand-up comedian Lovdev Barpaga. Each episode dives into everyday life, strange confessions from the internet, bizarre news stories, and the occasional rant about British problems. Lovdev mixes storytelling, observations from life on the comedy circuit, and his own unique take on the weird things people do.
It’s relaxed, funny, and unpredictable — like listening to a comedian thinking out loud.

Episode 242 – A Tall Order
This week on Crazy Little Thing Called Lovdev, I've been testing the limits of my stomach with a calorie disaster, reflecting on a recent corporate comedy gig at a golf club, and looking back at my solo show Half Soaked at the Birmingham Comedy Festival.
Over on Reddit, someone's discovered a vending machine that's been giving away free drinks for years, while another person finds that buying an electric bike to make life easier has had quite the opposite effect.
There's another round of Puns Without Pictures, and in What the F...?, we uncover the extraordinary story of a Portuguese nun accused of witchcraft and making a rather unusual deal with the Devil.
And in Weird News, we meet someone who's gone to extreme — and extremely painful — lengths to gain a few extra inches.
Food disasters, free drinks, bizarre history and the usual nonsense.
It's Episode 242 – A Tall Order!
